“If you don’t build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs”. Such was the thought of a person with a fiery instinct. Mr. Vinod Khanna laid the foundation of Nodi Exports, Moradabad in 1996 with a vision to manufacture the highest quality products in the market at a cost effective rate. This journey commenced from a 100 sq. ft. room, which has now evolved into two 2-lakh sq. ft. factories, one that was recently inaugurated at the stroke of New Year’s Eve, 2017. The infrastructures are fully equipped with all the modern technologies that are required to give birth to a beautiful commodity.

Mr. Vinod Khanna’s business acumen was passed down to Mr. Neeraj Khanna and Mr. Shailesh Khanna, who have taken this business to new elevations.

 

Slogging day and night finally attracted the attention of various agencies in the capital, which facilitated the growth of the company.  The growth of the company from then has been unprecedented. Taking off with one client from one country who was bagged after continuous efforts, Nodi now caters to more than 60 clients with marquee customers namely Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Laura Ashley and the likes. 

 

Nodi started with a single employee who handled the buyers back then which has now grown to more than 15 folds of that number. Currently, there is an experienced, sharp, and hardworking personnel in the fields of Sampling, Merchandising, Production, Finishing, Packaging, Forwarding and most importantly Designing, which form the backbone of the business. The company has undergone various downfalls, which are internal and external, but has managed to overcome them smoothly in unison.

None of the three members who currently head the business have been to any business school; rather they’ve gathered all the knowledge by reading and applying it in actual business environments. Learning, applying, failing, evolving, re-applying, failing again.
